Instead of relying on a central authority or a single entity making decisions, a DAO allows its members to participate and contribute to the decision-making process.
In a DAO, rules and processes are defined by smart contracts, which are self-executing programs running on a blockchain.These smart contracts ensure transparency, security, and automation of various activities within the organization, such as voting on proposals, managing funds, and distributing rewards.
